Travel to Nature Uganda is a tour company that provides sustainable tours of one of the most biodiverse, geographically unique countries on the planet—Uganda—and Rwanda. Our pride in and deep knowledge of this beautiful land makes us excited everyday to provide our visitors with an unforgettable, up-close encounter of their choosing. Whether you’re interested in getting to know the world’s largest tropical lake or the world’s largest population of mountain gorillas, we’re here to show you all they have to offer as we immerse you in the wild side of the Pearl of Africa.
Mission
Our mission is to prepare and organize excellent tours that result in happy and fulfilled guests, staff, stakeholders, and communities.
Vision
Our vision is to uplift, restore, and protect nature as we carry out sustainable and responsible tourism in Uganda and our neighbouring countries.
Our Story
Kabulezi Viriano, one of the founders of TTN Uganda, began his tourism career over a decade ago by working as a watchman for another tour and travel company. Over the years, he worked his way up through the different positions in the company, gaining the multi-faceted skills and experience that are a valuable asset to TTN Uganda today. Having grown up in the villages of Uganda and later moving to the towns, he has a deep personal knowledge and love for the many beautiful faces of his country, and he and his team are passionate about introducing visitors to them through thoughtful, invigorating, and respectful tours.
What Makes Us Different
The difference is in our name: we have a very special attachment to nature and the habitats through which we guide our visitors. Ensuring that we follow all environmental protocols to the letter, leaving a place better than we found it, and minimizing our environmental impact as much as possible are all of the utmost importance to us as we plan and conduct our tours.
Sustainable Tourism
Given that we are a tour company that puts nature at the pinnacle of our priorities, we are doing much more than providing visitors with unforgettable encounters with our motherland. Deforestation is a significant global problem, and Uganda is no exception. As such, we are planning to obtain deforested land along a popular tourist route and reforest it with indigenous species. After that is successful, we will incorporate on that land a school for conservation and an ecolodge for our guests, and we will use the proceeds from such to help the surrounding communities
